Established in 1994, International Children’s Awareness (ICA) is a Canadian registered Non-Governmental Organization focusing on working with communities in participatory ways to ensure sustainable development solutions within the realm of education, health, water and sanitation, and income generation.

OBJECTIVES

The goal was to develop and execute a tactical fundraising campaign, that later was named “Rally for Hope”. The campaign focused on raising funds to build schools to help women and children with literacy and numeracy and establish reliable clean water sources.

OUTCOME

Within a year, the campaign generated over $30,000 in donations across six fundraising media channels. The collective impact of these contributions significantly contributed to the campaign’s overall success. Throughout the campaign, VS Marketing secured over $50,000 in funding. This substantial amount enabled ICA Canada to make meaningful progress towards its mission in Cameroon.

Additionally, the campaign’s social media audience gained remarkable growth, with a 105% increase in January 2022 compared to the previous year. This surge in earned media is going to be a great asset for ICA’s fundraising efforts in the future and manage health centers in Cameroon.
